DENSO - PLAST Tape
Cold applied wax-petrolatum tape for the corrosion protection coating of earth placed pipes and structural parts.
DENSO PLAST - Tape is based on a impregnated chemical fibre which is coated with petrolatum mastic on both sides. A polypropylene film is laminated together with the tape to avoid elutriation of the tape through increasing and decreasing subterranean water. The mastic of DENSOPLAST-Tape moistens the pipe surface completely and a coating which is impermeable against water vapor and oxygen evolves. PLAST-Tape is wrapped with an overlap of 67 % to gain a 3 - layer coating.
