DENSO - FLEX Tape
Cold applied wax-petrolatum tape for the corrosion protection coating of earth placed pipes and structural parts.
DENSO FLEX - Tape is made out of an impregnated chemical fibre based on polypropylene which is coated with a wax-petrolatum mastic on both sides. A polypropylene film is laminated together with the tape to avoid elutriation of the product through increasing and decreasing subterranean water. The mastic of DENSO FLEX-Tape moistens the pipe surface completely and a coating which is impermeable against water vapor and oxygen evolves. FLEX Tape is normally applicated with an overlap of 50 %.
