DENSO - RT 22
DENSO - RT 22 is a 2-ply plastic mechanical protection tape which is coated with an adhesive based on butyl caoutchouc. The extra strong designed polyethylene backing film makes the tape ultra high resistable against mechanical impact. To avoid heavy heating of the pipe through solar radiation Rocktape 22 is available in the colours white and yellow. Furthermore this tape is extra strong UV stabilized to meet the high requirements of a top layer corrosion protection tape.
RT 22 is used in every (except from system 5) DENSO corrosion prevention system and underlines its signifcation as mechanical stress resistant tape for the protection of the tapes applied below. Rocktape is ÖVGW (Austrian Aggregation for Gas and Water) and ON (Austrian Standards Institute) approved.
