Corrosion Prevention Systems For Maximum Requirements
DENSO - corrosion prevention systems are cold applied polyethylene - butyl caoutchouc composite tapes in combination with a base coat also based on butyl caoutchouc. These corrosion prevention systems are successfully used and manufactured since 1971. Of course we upgraded the systems or developed new ones hand in hand with our costumers. Currently we can offer 6 approved and certified corrosion prevention systems (have a look at the box on the right side) for the handmade or mechanical coating of pipelines.
- Layer Composition From 3 - Tape Systems
DENSO - Austria offers according to the conceptions of austrian energy suppliers 3 - tape corrosion prevention systems with double functionality. As corrosion prevention tapes for the first layer on the prepaired pipe surface butyl caoutchouc tapes or 3 - ply polyethylene - butyl composite tapes are used. These tapes have a high butyl caoutchouc layer and filling every surface irregularities or weld lines which guarantees a coating free of voids. A clamping tape is applied over the the corrosion prevention tape to increase the exert pressure. This tape amalgamates together with the innermost layer and a coating that is similar to a tube evolves. Corrosion protection and mechanical protection are now completed. As additional mechanical protection a 2 - ply tape is applied for the system completion. Furthermore this tape is used for the decoupling from the ground.
DENSO - corrosion prevention systems are registered and certified at the ÖVGW (Austrian Aggregation for Gas and Water) for gas and water standards. Furthermore all our systems are allowed to bear the ON (Austrian Standards Institute) quality label. Therefore we have monitoring treaties concerning our corrosion prevention systems together with the TGM (Governmental Laboratory).
DENSO corrosion prevention systems fulfill or even outvalue the requirements according to ÖNORM EN 12068 ÖNORM B5250 and the ÖVGW guideline G25. Therefore we can guarantee our costumers the highest quality possible.
